Post 320 Facilities

Rapid City Post 320 Facilities

The Post 320 Stars have plenty of opportunities to improve their game and stay active all year long.

Our indoor facility provides year-round  training opportunities and has become invaluable to our offseason program.  We have three indoor cages, four indoor mounds, hitting station area, and a separate turf area to hone defensive skills.  We are also able to slide all the nets back and use the entire building's turfed area for large group training.

Along with the baseball skill areas, we have free weights, squat racks, and variety of other training equipment available for our athletes.

Our locker room loft area was completed in 2017.  In the locker room, the players have access to a projector system and large screen, complete with internet access,  making  it possible for players to review game/practice video, individual skill recordings, as well as a variety of instructional videos. Individual player lockers and a lounge area for player team building are additional components in our locker room.

Our amazing indoor facility ensures that our players are able to train and improve their game all year around, regardless of weather conditions.

Newly turfed outdoor batting cages are also located adjacent to the indoor facility for Post 320 and visiting team use.

Beautiful Pete Lien Memorial Field is the home to all Post 320 home games and tournaments.

Immeasurable appreciation goes out to Coach Brandt, Craig Johnson, Mark Howard and all others that have worked to make this building become a reality!

Our Mission

American Legion Post 320 supports the dreams of young men ages 19 and younger, who have the passion and desire to play baseball.

We are dedicated to assisting these young men with their development of skills and maturity they will need to achieve their life goals both on and off the field.

It is our goal to provide a program that will expose them to a competitive level of baseball that will give them the needed advantage to proceed to the next level of their career.

Pursuit of these dreams will be done under the described rules and regulations for American Legion Baseball and pertains to all participants in the program.

Promotion of team spirit, positive reinforcement, skill development, and respect for the fans, competitors, and fellow team members is our basic objective.

This is our commitment to the dreams and excellence of our players.
